Rib plate was awesome. Sauce not even needed, great flavor. Yellow potato salad the way my dad made it. Portions were great. Come hungry, you’ll leave full. Great, no frills, good old local style eatery. Would eat here again. 👍

We are in town working and ordered Drakes for dinner. I got the half smoked chicken with beans and my husband got rib tips with beans. That is some of the best smoked chicken I have ever had! I highly recommend them!

Drake wasn't there this time, and the ribtips weren't up to par. I ordered small and large tip plate, no sides, but the gentleman said, "He gotta get sides" maybe it's something new, but it wasn't on the menu chart or on the cashier window. I occasionally see Drake in Walmart, and I were going to inquire about this, but I have seen him lately, and I hope and pray he's ok. Now, this doesn't mean I'm not coming back because I am because that potato salad is darn good. I just would like to have some clarity on the "have to get sides" with the ribtip plate.
Hey if anyone hears from them if they are still open let me know. Every time I call to check if the hours may be different they pick up & hang up. It may be they don't want phone calls, it's a shame couldn't even try them out

I promise got a Rib Tip plate from Drake's so dam good I actually ran off the road. I said that would have been a shame they was gone say Drake's caused the wreck 😂 I give them a 10-10 Yes I put the plate down until I get home Drake's ain't about to take me out 😂
