NEVER DISAPPOINTED!! Whenever I am in Greenwood I always go to F&J’s!! I have eaten across the country and this GEM ranks in the top. Most restaurants serve the same thing and never have specials… F&J’s have a set menu with lots of favorites, but you can always expect multiple specials every time they open, and they are SPECTACULAR! EVERYTHING is made from scratch! BYOB adds a nice touch… They do an AWESOME JOB!
We enjoy every year before going to the cooking school. Amazing food, with a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Don’t miss out on a lunch or dinner from this place the next time you are in Greenwood, Mississippi!
Mushy catfish and dry/tough quail, as well as, unseasoned breading and cold okra. If a restaurant fails at these basic cooking skills, especially in the MS Delta, then it’s not a place worth a return visit. Sadly I did just that, my second visit proved the chef is going for a poorly cooked, bland taste style. Almost as if their goal is to be drab, since flavor and skill abound on every corner in the delta.
The prices make you feel like you are in for a great experience, but your tastebuds reveal you have been scammed.
Over heard the chef deal with a customer who was disappointed in the food. The chef was very condescending to the table. Embarrassing, for the chef.

I tried the catfish sandwich in a wrap and it was delicious. Would like the homemade pickle sliced and inside the wrap. Enjoyed the fresh cut fries as well.

I had the steamed mussels with frog legs. The mussels were good but the frog legs were the star of this meal. The legs were tender and the batter was super tasty, I would have preferred the legs were actually seasoned and not just the the coating. All the meals here are good. I

We called to find out about a reservation several hours before they opened, left a VM w our call back info and no one called back - so we drove there and were told they are booked. We said we called and didn’t get a call back and the lady was like “if we don’t call you back, we ain’t got a table”. Uhm, ok. Rude. Won’t be trying to come back.

We had the best fried chicken sandwich of our lives here in 2019 on my birthday. We both still dream about it. It was a “mother and her chick” type of thing with a fried egg on it. We rave about it wherever we go and can’t wait for an opportunity to visit this restaurant again someday in the future. Not sure why it took me this long to leave a review. Hopefully the sandwich will be back on the menu when we visit!

## Fan and Johnny's: A Delicious Deep Dive into the Mississippi Delta **Fan and Johnny's** in downtown Greenwood, Mississippi, offers a truly unique culinary experience that showcases the rich flavors of the Delta. Owned and operated by Chef Taylor Bowen-Ricketts, this restaurant is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. We had the pleasure of trying a variety of dishes, and each one was a standout. The **fried gator** was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a subtle gamey flavor. The **frog legs** were prepared to perfection, with a light, golden-brown crust. The **fried catfish** was flaky and flavorful, served with a side of tartar sauce. For something a little different, we also tried the **duck soup**. This hearty soup was filled with tender duck meat and a variety of vegetables. It was the perfect comfort food on a chilly day. To finish off our meal, we couldn't resist the **bread pudding**. This classic dessert was rich and creamy, with a hint of cinnamon. If you're looking for a truly memorable dining experience, Fan and Johnny's is a must-visit. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top-notch.
