How does this place stay in business? I have had two encounters with the owner and they were not good. The first was when I visited the restaurant for lunch. I ordered and sat down. In a bit, she basically walked by the table and just slung the plate of food and never stopped walking. The second encounter was when my employer ordered food for an event. The food was delivered by the owner and when she brought in the trays, she plopped them down on a table and said something to the effect, in a very rude manner, "where's my money?" If I had been in charge of it, I would have told her to take it all back and get NO money from us. As for the food, it is just so-so. It's nothing special. Just go to the grocery store and get cold cuts and bread and you have the same thing. I would never think of spending my money at this "restaurant" for any reason. I would recommend going anywhere else to eat. McDonalds or Waffle House would be a better choice!

KK recently catered a fantastic luncheon featuring chicken divan, tomato pie, fruit salad, chocolate fudge, pecan & apple pies. It was the best lunch I have ever had! I recommend KK highly!

I will never eat at KK's Deli again. I ordered and sat down at a table. In a bit, the food was ready. KK herself brought it to the table - or should I say, just slung it on the table on her way out. She never said a word of thanks or anything. If I had not already paid for it, I would have gotten up and left. If the owner treats her customers like this, who knows how the employees will treat the customers? The food is not that great, but it's the bad attitude of the owner that is the worst of it. She acted like I was ruining her day by coming in there to spend my money. Well, it ain't gonna happen again! I will go anywhere else first!

I worked here years ago. I still crave their sandwiches! A fabulous place to eat and work. KK and her Momma are some of the best woman you will ever meet! I highly recommend you stop in and have a taste of southern food and hospitality at its finest.
