Heard the building burned some time ago, but they still at it as a food trailer taking orders. When I arrived, I could instantly feel the sense of community as people standing and sitting outside conversing and eating their meals.I called my order in and it was only a few minutes till everything was ready. The order taker was very nice and caring, making sure I had everything I needed and ordered. Two big catfish fillet plates, order of fried okra, and shrimp.Everything was delicious, I was taken back with the raw onion and pickle spear on the fish plates. Was told by some of the old heads that's how they always do it. Noticed how it complamented my palette of fried fish and okra, won't see that at Captain Ds. Absolutely coming back.

I hadn't been here in 8 years and decided to go for it tonight with my husband. We walked to the counter with about 6 people ahead of us, they seen us in 5-7 minutes. We ordered 2 plates from the buffet to go and 2 sweet teas. (You cannot serve yourselves at the buffet) We sat at the entrance and waited 20 minutes and was asked if we ordered 2 to-go plates and we replied yes. Servers seemed tired and over worked I completely understand. We are living in uncertain times. But it also seemed they were pretty well staffed from the looks of it.Waited another 20 minutes we seen the guy that came in after us got his plate.. but we hadn't been seen about or updated on our orders. After waiting literally 47 minutes at 7pm on a Saturday night we decided it was time to go.. we won't be back.....We left and went to Cane Creek Cafe in Holcomb instead. We got in, fixed our plates, paid and left in 15 minutes. At Cane Creek there were Smiling staff, self serve and it was $8.99 a lb and ending at $20.32 for us.We had wished we came there sooner because of the 30 minute round trip. But we ended up very pleased.

Do not go after 7 pm. 25$. Catfish is good. Other food is not. This place is beyond a Dive. Trust me. A real shack. Try it. Only Ok is my best word.

If you want some really good catfish, whole or fillets, this is the place to go! They also have some awesome sides and dessert. I have a friend that lives in the Jackson area and loves coming here-better than any catfish she has been to in Jackson.
When you are in a lunch rush and you need a home cooked southern style meal for a great price, this is your stop!! Hands down southern proud ?

Went here for breakfast which is hard to find in Grenada MS beside waffle house where their employees are lazy and rude. Here at Catfish Corner we received the exact opposite. They two women were very kind and food was great. You can tell they work hard and love their customers. She knew alot of her customers names and that just shows how involved she is with the people. Have to try this place atleast once!

It was a little pricey but it was very yummy. And the people that work there are sooo nice. It was 45.00 for my husband and I to eat the buffet. BUT they made fresh food while we were there.. and he is a fan of frog legs and said they were amazing.
