We had dinner there tonight. Samantha was our server. She has a great personality and was real helpful with the menu and we followed her suggestion and had ribeyes baked potato. Then the owner and manager his name was John came out and introduced himself as you could see he was working back in the kitchen or somewhere. We met his two young sons who also worked there and they weren’t just standing around. They were actually working he sent us out two samples of his baked beans, which were absolutely delicious. So the next time we go, I think I’m going to have barbeque and the beans. Hopefully he makes good slaw. We would highly recommend going to magnolias to try it if you have not. This place was recommended to us by church lady that we met coming out of a different restaurant where they could not see us.

My wife ordered ribeye medium well,it was cooked more like medium. I had the 4 meat platter (chicken, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork) because I wanted to sample them all. I was informed they had no chicken, so I only got 3. Nothing was served hot. My wife’s ribeye was only warm. My brisket, ribs, and pork were cool. Ribs were tough. Brisket would have been fine if it was heated up. We were there at 4:00 pm, so they weren’t busy at all. The blooming onion was great. I’m sure they do better than this most of the time. Our bill was $97 for the two of us. I was very disappointed. Expected better. Should have complained to the server.

Great bbq, baked beans, Mac & cheese & Cole slaw!!!! Great lunch or dinner stop just off highway 55! Going back next roadtrip for catfish!!! Owner was extremely friendly & thanked us for stopping in! The restaurant is clean & woodworking done by the owner is exceptional craftsmanship!!!

We were pleasantly surprised at the spicy kick in the bbq sauce. The grill & pit masters know what their bbq is about. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth perfect even cold the following day. The real show-stealer, though, was the brisket pizza. We've not had anything quite like it, and all the flavors from smoky brisket, to spicy bbq, to salty cheese, to herbed crust came together in a dish nothing short of perfection. The only draw-back for us is the thousand miles drive to go back for more.
Magnolia Smokehouse Grill did not disappoint. It was a great family dining atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding. My husband and I split the 4 meat platter and it was a ton of foot. Everything was excellent. I'm so glad we found this spot off of I55 on our way home to Chicago.
Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loves the grilled cheese and fresh cut fries.
Enjoyed my visit here but did have one fairly serious food issue related to blackened catfish, it was extremely tough in the middle, I discussed this with my server and was satisfied with the resolution but it needed to be mentioned. However the overall experience was very positive. Excellent service and the remainder of the food varied from good to very good. My friend had the etouffee and was happy with it. I added on the fried shrimp to my entree and they were perfectly fried and seasoned. Appetizer was fried crawfish and we received a very generous, properly cooked portion. No room for desserts so I will go easier on the meal next time and leave room.

I had the pleasure of dining at Magnolia Steakhouse in Grenada, MS, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. But the real star of the night was the food! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.
The brisket was tender, juicy, and grilled exactly how i ordered. The sides were equally amazing—full of Southern charm with a gourmet twist. You can tell they use the freshest ingredients, and everything was served hot and delicious.
If you’re in Grenada and looking for a fantastic meal, Magnolia Steakhouse is the place to go. It’s worth every penny, and I’ll definitely be back!
