We were driving through Mississippi and were looking for a fast food stop but didn't want the typical burger and fries. We got off I55 onto Rt 82 and passed a BBQ food truck with the most delicious smelling smoke. The outfit looked a bit rough but we decided to try it out. Thats usually where you get the best food. The gentleman was very friendly, asked if we've been before and since we had not, he gave us a small sample of the rib tips and pulled pork. We ordered a pulled pork plate and a small order of rib tips. It was very good and we highly recommend stopping. We said if we lived in the area we'd be stopping frequently but since we don't we will for sure stop if we're in the area again.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. This was the best barbecue I have had since moving from Memphis. At my first look at the sandwich I thought “dang, I wish they put more sauce on this” but after my first bite I was thankful that it wasn’t smothered in sauce. The meat has a wonderful smoky flavor-and not just the outside parts of the meat, it is smoked all the way through. I ended up removing my bread halfway through the sandwich because the sandwich is large and I didn’t want to waste any of the barbecue, haha-it really is that good. The fries were good also, they were steaming hot and had a really good season salt on them. To top it off, the lady at the window was friendly. I will definitely return and encourage everyone to give them your business.
