The bbq ribs and chicken were fall off the bone. The collard greens were some of the best I've had in a long time and the mac and cheese had so much flavor. Well worth stopping off the beaten path for.

Pulled over to grab a bite in Hazelhurst. Went down the main strip and couldn’t bring myself to eat fast food. Pulled over and Googled local restaurants. JB’s had good reviews so I gave it a try. It was great. Got the rib plate with mac & cheese and cole slaw. The ribs had terrific flavor and were cooked well. The mac & cheese was amount the best I’ve ever had. Don’t let the small drive off the main road scare you. Place was very clean and had good seating. Steady stream of locals grabbing to go orders while I was there. Definitely will be back on my travels through.

If you’re anywhere near Hazlehurst, do yourself a favor and stop by JB’s BBQ. This place is the real deal—authentic Southern BBQ with that slow-smoked flavor you just can’t fake. The brisket were fall-off-the-bone tender and the sides (especially the baked beans and potato salad) tasted homemade. You can tell they put heart into everything they serve. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe felt like home. JB’s is the kind of place you’ll remember long after the last bite. Highly recommend!
