This is such a great place to eat! With everything from Mexican to Japanese foods. And then for dessert, Baskin Robbin’s ice cream! The owner was so nice. We are new to the area so we didn’t know what to expect. I will just say, Restaurante Guatemalteca did not disappoint! If you haven’t tried this place, it’s a must!

This is a unique dual service restaurant with Baskin & Robbin’s on one side and Japanese/Mexican on the other. You can order to go or eat inside. The chef decided to combine a menu from a hibachi restaurant he worked at and foods from his growing up years. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chips and salsa appetizer, but in fairness I only ate this once. BUT Copiah County needs to not overlook the BEST sushi, eggrolls and huge fried wontons with cream cheese! Phenomenal food a short drive away! Great price point and huge portions!

Don’t overlook this place! Unique dual location restaurant- Baskin & Robbin’s on one side and Restaurante Guatemalteca on the other. Never had the ice cream, but the SUSHI, eggrolls and fried wontons are great! Wasn’t crazy about the chips and salsa served as an appetizer, but the rest was very tasty at a good price point. The owner is super friendly and helpful and his heritage as well as previous jobs lend a very unique menu. Give him a try! 😁

Don’t be fooled by the Roadaway inn behind this small restaurant. The food is excellent. We had pupulses and the birra tacos. House salsa was authentic.

OMG! Let me just tell you! This place is wonderful! The service is outstanding, the place is really clean and the food is outstanding!!! I got the Hibachi shrimp and sushi and it was just as good if not better than Bonsai or Nagoya! 1000% recommend!!!
