Catfish Country

We have 2 top tier catfish restaurants near us. Catfish Country just edges out our second choice. The best fried filets we have ever tried. Sides are always delicious also. Slaw, fried okra, twice baked potato, northern beans and hush puppies.

The food was cold. Northern beans were crunchy. Our waitress was nice, but she had no help. One girl that was working wearing pajamas and another wearing dirty house shoes and dirty socks while dragging her feet. I’ve been there several times. Not sure I’ll go back.

Uhhh… “hardwood smoked wings and twice baked potato”? ….. = fried wings and some kind of diced potato casserole? 😵‍💫. It tasted fine but yall should definitely reword most of your menu for clarity.

I really like the food. Hush puppies are great. Service is good. They used to serve really big pieces of catfish, now they are very small and the price has not gone down because of it. Not sure who they are using now to supply them with catfish but they need to immediately go back to whoever was before. If they do that, they will receive ALL 5 stars.

Won’t be back if I have a debit card and you run it as credit to get your 3% when I ask that you run it as debit and it clearly displays the option for debit on screen and you say you can’t you’ve now lied to a customer thanks but no thanks

Met some Lovely Folks and Fine Cooks at CATFISH COUNTRY tonight. We met 2 Miss Becky's, a Miss Shannon, and a wonderful Lady by the name of Miss Shelby. We also met Mr Mike and Dorthy Jones. The atmosphere was like coming home. The people there were kind, friendly, and smiling! How GREAT was THAT!

These Fine Folks brought HOT 🔥 Homemade Hush Puppies to our table with the best Sweet Tea in all of Mississippi as far as I can tell. Then came fresh homemade cole slaw that was genuinely good ( and I usually don't care for just any cole slaw!).

Then came Fried Green Tomatoes 🍅 that were as hot as the planet MERCURY and fried okra that was literally fried to perfection. Next was the BEST FRIED CATFISH that was so good that you wanted to go home and slap your Mama (don't you try it), but y'all know BETTER!

To TOP THAT ALL OFF they brought Kathy and I some fresh, homemade chocolate Mounds Cake and a piece of homemade coconut pie with meringue topping in a carry home container. That was a good thing because we were ready to BUST!

The Good Lord sure blessed us with a Great Friday Evening! THANKS Y'ALL!
