Our food was GREAT. Service was great too. Very plush chairs & comfy booth seating. Full menu. Great choices. A new favorite spot for our family!

NOT A SINGLE TIME IN 2 YEARS HAVE I ORDERED FROM THIS RESTARAUNT AND THEY GOT MY ORDER RIGHT!! It's absolutely ridiculous that we pay the prices we do just to get home and realize they couldn't do their job and read a ticket!! I will never spend anther dime at this place.

i live about 25 minutes away from this wonderful little restaurant, yet it has slowly made its way into a bi weekly routine for me (not literally of course but one may desire). the queso is incomparable to any other establishment! the carne asada tacos are a favorite of mine, and it is the
perfect amount of food for such a splendid price. the staff are kind and welcoming and the interior is so casual and cozy. always clean, always fresh, and always fast, el tejocote is sure to last. ?

I can honestly say this is one of my favorite buildings in the hernando area. El tejocote is a treat and a half every time I visit. Highly recommend the enchiladas tapitias.
