Food is excellent, service is great. Only thing that was negative during my last visit which was on a Thursday night was the language barrier with the server. She didn't speak or really understand English . There was someone who had to help and still it wasn't exactly what we had asked for.I have been 3 times so far and the visits during lunch times there are different servers who have no difficulty understanding what you are ordering and giving you what you ask for.
Stellar food! Traveling through town and just stopped in on a gut feeling, pun intended; ordered without any expectations...I got the food to go; wow, 3x chimichanga meal was bussin! Steak was soft and Smokey; grilled chicken same; shrimp done right; chips and salsa very fresh and well made. The restaurant itself in decor is simple, but if you like to eat, don’t pass up this hidden gem. I interacted with 3 staff members and they were all extremely friendly and professional....
I'm not one to post reviews, but I have to say this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Hernando, for the price and taste. I've only been here for about a month, but I've tried every restaurant. This is a definite go to of mine at least once a week, for lunch especially. I've never had a bad experience or slow service and highly recommend this to anyone that loves authentic Mexican food or Texmex style!
