Pretty long review so I summed it up at the end if you want to skip all this.
I was told by a teacher of mine to check this place out, I’m new to Houston and I recently moved from TN. I really love Chinese food and I was sad because I thought living in such a small town there wouldn’t be any, luckily I went and the first thing that happened was a worker welcomed me, that was really nice so I told her I was here for take out and she said, “Help yourself!” I was a little weary. I’m not a big fan of buffets, I think they’re all pretty gross in their own ways, but after looking around I didn’t see much wrong, sanitation and everything looked good so I got my place and filled it. I’m a boxer and I’m trying to put on some weight so I got a pretty big plate, like I could barely close the to-go box. But I walked up to the register and I started talking to the cashier which was so nice, they were so nice to me and I was telling them how I’m new to Houston and I love Chinese food, then came the crazy part. She weighed my food and it came out to $9! I got a lot of food, like a lot a lot so for all that to be $9 was an absolutely steal. I apologize for such the long review so let me sum it up.
This place is great, I haven’t dined in so I can’t give thoughts on that but the staff as so nice and the food is honestly really good, and the prices are absolutely fantastic. Would 100% recommend👏

Love eating here. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Plenty of choices hot and delicious !! I highly recommend Buffet World ❤️❤️
Pre-packaged preservatives & canned food re-heated. What’s not to love.
Prices vary by time and weekday/end but the menu stays the same. It used to be a bigger selection on weekends. Would be wonderful to have a salad bar. The actual menu and not the buffet is vast and wonderful.
For being such a small restaurant it was really nice and food was good. I will be back to eat here again

In a word: awful.Beef tasted like fish. Soup was gelatin. Four dishes in the buffet unless you count fried rice and mushrooms.

If I could give no stars I would this place is garbage! Very friendly staff and cold drinks but the food was cold and terrible! I gave $13.06 for some garbage!
The food was absolutely disgusting, old and cold. The buffet options were incredibly slim and the dessert was just as bad.The booth was falling apart. This place was wayyyy over priced for the quality. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

I was so happy to discover this hidden gem in houston. The selection is smaller than most buffets I've been to however the quality makes up for it.
