We sat in front by the bar. Ordered water, burger and onion rings. Food took at least 30 minutes. Burger was small and no flavor. Onion rings were good but no seasoning. When we got the check, the burger was $13.95, which should have been $11.95, guessing $2 up-charge for onion rings. We were also charged $1/each for water. We weren’t checked on until we were done eating. When I questioned the pricing, I was told I should talk to management, no offer to check for me or get the “manager”. Service, food quality and food quantity were not worth the price.
Traveling through north Mississippi we stopped by Dixie Dinner. We order aTopper pizza & a pepperoni pizza. They were great. Service was tremendous and very friendly. We spoke to the owner to ask how long they had been open. He stated they had reopened since the pandemic the beginning of the this year. He also owned The Gathering another establishment there in Houston. They make all their food fresh. We highly recommend Dixie Diner. We will stop again.
