Okay so we just discovered this place, very impressed. Small family owned restaurant in a small town, down home southern comfort food at its best. The menu is incredible, there are even vegetarian options, lots to choose from. The service is pretty good, some of the younger staff seemed a little lost but were very friendly. The prices were ok, seemingly normal as everything else is expensive nowadays. The food was great, tasted great, large proportions. I have a loaded chicken...
Very knowledgeable about gluten issues! Bacon cheeseburger in lettuce wrap was superb - juicy, well-seasoned meat with plenty of fresh, green lettuce. Even the diet cherry coke (fountain drink) tasted great. A bit of a wait - p.s., worth it.

We drove from Vernon, Alabama because we saw the milkshakes featured in a magazine. It was well worth the hour drive! Dogs are welcome in the fenced in area out back which was a bonus for us! A lady who I believe may have been the owner or a manager of sorts came out and asked if our pups needed water and gave them some treats. We will definitely be back!
