This is definitely a go to place to eat. We pulled into town and was wondering where to go eat. We looked at the reviews and decided to try it. What an amazing place. Everyone was so nice. My husband had the shrimp poor boy sandwich and homemade onion rings. He said it was so good ( if you knew him he does not say that very often). The bread was so soft and fresh. Hit every spot that I needed it to hit when I was having a craving of some good home cooking while in Mississippi right off of 82. This is the perfect place for you to stop grab some hot fresh meat to order food and then keep on going down your way. The staff is extremely friendly and nice and the ice cream never stops. It’s homemade as well.
Well, as far as a greasy spoon goes, it's at least clean. The burgers are less than stellar, the flavor to me was as if someone took fresh beef and tried to make it taste like a mass produced drive in burger. The pulled pork sandwich was a down right let down. I was a cook and kitchen manager for a combined 7 years, I know what reheat tastes like.
