I have been debating on whether to eat here because most local restaurants are typically the same so never made the drive even though it was only about a 45 min drive for us, but wanted to take my wife somewhere we haven't been before so we decided to come here to eat and it was definitely worth the drive. The atmosphere was nice the employees that we had encountered were very nice and our waiter/bartender Jacob is a really nice guy and was very helpful on questions that we would ask and has a good sense of humor, now about the food it was great I had the red fish and I was skeptical about getting it because it has to be cooked right for it to be any good and it was fantastic and my wife had a steak and said it was one of the best she has had in a long time. I highly recommend this place and will be most definitely coming back with the whole family next time. This place reminds me of the way restaurants used to operate caring for their customers whether they know you or not a very welcoming place with absolutely great food.

Where do I begin? Well first, I made reservations for a Friday night in the private section for a romantic dinner, just me and my wife. The private section is a small room with a table, 4 chairs, curtains surrounding, and a dim lit atmosphere for a more personal experience. Although not sound proof, your tucked away from the lively areas. After we sat down, we gave our drink orders and went ahead and ordered our meals. I ordered a steak, of course. A few minutes passed before the owner himself came to our section and introduced himself and began speaking to us. Now I'd like to think I'm special,however I'm certain it was due to the way I ordered particularly. Pittsburgh sear, medium-rare, the only way a steak should be cooked in my opinion. And I'm guessing his too as he showed be the most marbled ribeye I've seen in years that he specifically chose to cook for me. Needless to say, I was left expecting a world class steak experience and they delivered. Cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and tender enough to eat with a spoon. I wish I had saved room for their many delicious and huge portions of cakes they offer, but there was no way I was leaving a piece of steak on that plate. The service was wonderful. Go try it for yourself. Enjoy. 10/10 would definitely recommend!Parking: Parking around town square available.

The from the time you walk in you feel welcomed. Savanah was our waitress and she is amazing very friendly and knows good food. I had tuna and red fish both amazing. My cousin had the best steak in Mississippi there tonight. I highly recommend to come here.

My wife and I were visiting relatives in the area, and they recommended we all go to Jason's for our Friday dinner. There were six of us in our group. Some ordered catfish dinners, others steak dinners, and for myself, it was the hamburger steak dinner with two sides. We also had an order of fried pickles for our appetizer. All of us enjoyed our meals. Seating was prompt, service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Prices were reasonable. We beat the crowd getting there, and relatives told us it would get more crowded, which it did. Very good experience at this pleasant downtown, on the square location in Kosciusko.
