An exceptional establishment indeed. The second best of such a venue in the area. While the fine wine exhibits a smooth and fruity flavor and undertones of an earthy, podiatric base, the vendor’s merchandise runs on the tight side and tends to body-shame the local patron that would likely frequent such a place. Muppet’s Playhouse Bar & Grill, which is just a short drive away, is a slightly more accepting, less threatening alternative for the weary Meridian traveler.

Bogus business. It was set up as a joke. Located inside a private community, only person's living in the community are allowed past guard gate. And the service sucked, waiters were wearing nothing but adult diapers. Don't ask how they carry the silverware.

Incontrovertibly the pinnacle of class and comfort. The house red is a brooding mistress with devilish wafts of ripe cherries, loamy soil, damp farmhouse flooring, erotic pear and pencil shavings. Perfect self-medicating companion for the manic-depressives who truly want to delve into the depths of the meaning of their own life while gazing into a deep-South sunset across a glassy yet slightly intolerant lake. Accompanied by Dalewood locals--a rag-tag company of dreamers, you won't be dismayed by this must-visit pearl of Mississippi.

Edit #2: Vohden Industries has been stockpiling toilet paper and paper towels for weeks. Basically an unlimited supply for those needing necessities. A little costly, but well worth the trip. The owner himself, will even practice social distancing and will leave your paper products on the front porch after you’ve paid electronically! The wine will get you drunk. Minus one star for the hassle to get through the gate.Edit #1: I love the Friday and Saturday hours. Back to five stars.

Wonderful experience at the Tasting Room. The wine selections are gradually building as the master sommelier finds the perfect MS grapes to craft local tasty wines. My favorite was the Republican Red Blend. Make Wine Great Again!!!

Definitely a legitimate business. Best wine this side of Dalewood!

There is so much to enjoy at Vohden Vineyard’s. The master sommelier displays expertise in all steps of the winemaking process, from massaging the grapes to soaking the corks. Sometimes he even soaks two corks at once during the busy season. The master sommelier also greets every guest with a wine pun (on my first visit to the tasting room he said, “I’m not a wino, I’m a wineYES!”) which always has his guests coming back for more. Vodgen Vineyard’s is not only Dalewood’s hidden treasure, it’s truly America’s sweetheart.

Hidden in a quiet waterfront nook alongside the beautiful Dalewood shoreline, Vohden Vineyards and Waterfront Tasting Room is a little-known gem. The Vohden team managed to get dibs on a great tract of fertile MS soil, perfect for those Sangiovese grapes this area is known for. Personally, Beachfront Bordeaux should be their flagship wine. Bold tanins, an oaky afterbirth, and incredible legs from the finest Welch’s grapes make this wine my go-to for those cool autumn evenings on the lake. Combined with Charcuterie boards prepared fresh from the legend himself with a majestic sunset view, Vohden vineyards is my #2 choice in the local area.

Incredible ambience, an impressive demonstration of traditional wine making, and a wonderful sunset view, but I simply couldn't forgive the eau d'athlete's foot present in the '96 cabernet sauvignon

Full-bodied...superb darkish color...medium length but girthy legs...aromas of Mississippi moisture and a slight hint of almost manly musk...but enough about the owner, let’s talk about the wine. The wine is on par with some of the more well known labels such as Robert Mondavi, Francis Coppola, and Franzia (although there is currently not a boxed option available, so unfortunately you can not slap the bag at this fine establishment...yet). I have personally tried the Merlot and I can whole heartedly tell you that that particular vintage was a delightful treat that paired great with both White Claws and Coors Light! I believe that the owner gets his grapes directly from a region called the Interwebs and if the region looks half as beautiful as the wine tastes then I can not wait to book a weekend getaway and explore the dark corners of such a place. I sadly did not get to try the charcuterie, but from what I’ve heard the owner offers a wide selection of the finest meats and cheeses from suppliers such as Kraft Singles, Lunchables, Oscar Meyer, and occasionally even Raising Canes. The venue itself is a handsome edifice, accessible by land mobile or watercraft, and there is fun to be had by the whole family so feel free to bring the kids along (the owner loves kids and will gladly share his legos and pogs). All in all...if you are elite/lucky enough to get past the Fort Knox quality security guarding access to the watery treasure of Lauderdale, MS (otherwise known as Dalewood) then Vohden Vineyards and Waterfront Tasting Room should be at the top of the list of places to grace with your presence!

Food was OK, wine tasted like he made it in his bathtub. Nice view though!
