Ordered steak and salmon. Screened-in Patio area renovated and clean. Parking was ok. Located in Learned, MS. Only accept cash or check. Steak was not hot. Service was ok. Took over an hour to get food.

I wouldn't know how their food taste cause they ran out after I waited 2 hours to be seated. Once seated I waited 45 minutes later to tell me they were running low on food. My salad was a sliver of cucumber, 1 small tomato, lettuce and a slice of hamburger cheese on top. Yeah. Not impressed.

Gibbes does not take reservations. Just go early and have a driver NOT UBER! Uber will leave you stranded. The food is fabulous and you are likely to make new friends while waiting.

The wait is what was expected to get a seat. The problem that we all had in our party of 9 was that we had automatic gratuity added so we virtually had no waitress until the very end when they were pushing us out the door. We watched every table get refills. We literally had to get up and walk to the refrigerator ourselves to get our cokes and Dr peppers. The only time anyone visited our table was to get our order, bring our food, or to gather empty plates. Bless the new table bus girl… she was the only one helping us. We could catch her when she was cleaning the tables next to us. Our food came out Luke warm and shrimp about 15 minutes after our steaks came out. The shrimp were OVER seasoned and over cooked. The steaks were ok…. For $164 for 3 people in our family, the service was TERRIBLE!!! Hey it’s not like they where to overwhelmed to help us, they literally stood at the refrigerator and talked. Here again, it was due to the automatic gratuity that we couldn’t get removed off our bill… reasoning, we wanted to tip the bus girl! Maybe make your staff take care of the large tables as well and provide them the same service as a table of 7 or less would receive….

Great atmosphere, but had the 2nd worste dinning experience of my life. Called in a reservation was told 40 minutes after arriving was told another hour. 3 hours later we got seated ordered another hour no food arrived at 645 10:00 still no food finally left and had to have waffle house.
