We walked in the front door to be seated. The door to the kitchen was opened slightly. The first thing we saw was a young girl frying fish and eating it at the same time. I mean scarfing it down right over the fryer. I almost walked out then. Well, we get seated and find out the buffet is $29 per person. This would be the price of Berry's. So, my husband walks over to the buffet just to see what is there. They had maybe 10 pans. Most were empty. The shrimp looked like it had been cooked for days. We had heard good things, but we certainly didn't see good things. They weren't even busy. We just left after that.

Located 50 yards off Highway 25 in Lena, MS. Catfish is very good and the Hushpuppies are even better. Will return with my wife very soon. Easy to park and easy to locate. Very clean and a Seafood Buffet at night. Call the restaurant for details. There were 5 take-away orders in the 45 minutes I was there.

We ate at a seafood place that absolutely did not disappoint. The shrimp were huge, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, and the fried corn on the cob was crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. It was one of those meals that leaves you full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Lucky to get a refill. Lucky to get service and waited 10 minutes to get the dessert that we paid for finally just gave up and left without it. Never once was checked on after we was sat down. Then was looked at like I was crazy when I only left a $2.00 tip. Why should I have even tipped when I didnโt get service nor the food I paid for. I could use the excuse it was busyโฆ BUT it wasnโt.

We went last night with family! The catfish was awful! Alot of the gray fat! Tasted terrible! The fried shrimp was good! We have eaten there a couple of times and it was good! It was awful!!

Over priced, Small selection for a buffet, food is either bland or burnt. They can't even make Mac and cheese right, it's like a soup pretty much. The service is terrible, they only fill your drinks every 30 minutes even if they see its empty or you ask them. if you plan on eating here then you might wanna bring you a pillow so you can nap in the car while you wait to be seated. Soft spots all through the floor. The central air conditioning apparently doesn't work so they have a window unit that is loud and blows directly onto you while your trying to eat, so your either sweating or cold.

I was passing through and looked up restaurants nearby and Maydroโs came up. I been by there often on the way to Jackson and back and never knew about this place. Tired of fast food I wanted something different and I am sure glad I stumbled on this gem. Other reviews were about their Hamburger steak so I stopped off and ordered that to go. I got there before 7p and didnโt look busy but before I could get to the door the parking lot was filling up. I made my order and every person I met was so friendly this seemed to be a local favorite so I knew I was in for a treat. I sat down inside and it took a bit to get my order but I was relieved because I knew then it was being made to order and fresh. If you canโt wait then youโre better off getting fast food thatโs been lying around for a while. When I got home I couldnโt believe how large the Hamburger steak was and covered in gravy and onions. The flavor was amazing I had leftovers for the next day. If youโre in the area on highway 25 do yourself a favor and check this place out. Youโll thank yourself later.
