Bought the seafood platter yesterday. Service was great, staff was friendly, spent 60 bucks on a seafood platter that was absolutely overcooked and COVERED in seasoning. Corn on the cob was feed corn. I visit the area now and then, and go there to get the best Royal Reds. I will stick with that next time. I couldn’t even eat it. My bf couldn’t either. We tossed the whole thing and went hungry. I should’ve known when they said 25 mins for steamed food. I thought maybe they were backed up, but I truly feel they were cooking those items the entire time. Lol.

Just rode my motorcycle 30mins to get some boiled shrimp and went to grab drink and the cashier tells me I have to leave my backpack w my phone, wallet and keys outside. I just left. If everyone is stealing out of the store, how long is my stuff gonna last out there and are you going to reimburse me for my stuff that gets stolen?
The only people stealing from this place are the cashiers that take 10 mins to check one person out.

It's the quintessential Southern experience. Just a little gas station tucked away in the city, and makes pretty good southern food that you can just walk out with. The servers are friendly. The locals all come here for a quick meal, and big city restaurants wish they could pull off this vibe. It's not a luxury experience but it's exactly the kind of experience you want from a place like this. Comfortable. Tasty. Homey.

We had the steamed crab platter and the fried catfish platter today. Both meals were perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. That's high praise from a couple of self-proclaimed seafood snobs. 10/10 ⭐ A+ all around!

We spend a lot of money here on crab plates, crawfish, po-boys, boudin balls, and shrimp and grits (weekends only). Their shrimp potato salad is also a favorite. The only item we don’t like is their shrimp. We get that fresh from the pier instead from Kimballs.

I'm not sure who drives the truck with your name and logo on the side, but the way they were driving on 190 in Louisiana is deplorable and they almost caused not one but TWO different accidents riding too close to people. Do better.

This has been my second time coming here. I think Louisiana food just has me spoiled but, I just don't think the food is that great. Brisket was dry!!! Even with BBQ sauce
