It's the quintessential Southern experience. Just a little gas station tucked away in the city, and makes pretty good southern food that you can just walk out with. The servers are friendly. The locals all come here for a quick meal, and big city restaurants wish they could pull off this vibe. It's not a luxury experience but it's exactly the kind of experience you want from a place like this. Comfortable. Tasty. Homey.

We had the steamed crab platter and the fried catfish platter today. Both meals were perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. That's high praise from a couple of self-proclaimed seafood snobs. 10/10 ⭐ A+ all around!

We spend a lot of money here on crab plates, crawfish, po-boys, boudin balls,
and shrimp and grits (weekends only). Their shrimp potato salad is also a favorite. The only item we don’t like is their shrimp. We get that fresh from the pier instead from Kimballs.
