I came here a few years ago with my dad, my brother and my sister-in-law and wasn’t that impressed. I originally gave it three out of five stars. Came to El Saltillo for the first time. I'm from Texas and was craving authentic Mexican food but wasn't having any luck in the Biloxi/Gulfport area. I stopped here and ordered el Molcajete and a strawberry margarita and it was soooo delicious!! The food was bursting with flavor! I also brought some study materials with me and was able to study a bit. The environment was inviting and relaxing. My waiter Karen was also amazing. 10/10 recommend!
The only thing I do not like about this place is their margaritas. I have been going here for years and the food is very consistent. The food comes out at lightening speed so if your looking for a slower, more casual dining experience then I would go somewhere else. They have a great carne asada and their carbonated beverages are never flat! Good place for a large group or quick family dinners. Like I said, the food is always very consistent and fresh here.
