Food was okay, the main course was AMAZING, but the stuffed mushrooms were microwaved and it looked rather unappatizing, but my gf ate it in the end. It looked like it was chilled and reheated, because the food was like warm but the plate was hot. Salad was okay and good. The main concern was the atmosphere. The first waitress we had was an older blonde hair woman who treated us coldly and the older individuals around us warmly. She stopped waiting us half way through and the new lady was much better. There were a lot of flies flying to the point we had to swat them away from our food and head. No ac on does that.
Staff was Wonderful. Spaghetti with meat sauce was great. I really enjoyed getting some good food with the Lunch Special without paying a lot of money.
Excellent food and excellent service. Just a little place but we love it especially the veal parmigiana. Food comes out quickly and hot! My only wish is that they would have plain bread for those who can't do bread loaded with garlic.?
Can’t say enough about this place. The food was unbelievable good and came out quickly. Very authentic and we will definitely be going back again!
Normally, Joe's gets "5 STARS" from me. The issue I have is that I heard a rumor that Joe's was closing in Long Beach, and reopening in Hattiesburg. I have messaged them on Messenger, Instagram, and have not received a reply, which leads me to believe the rumor must be true. If it isn't? Then please just tell me! Keeping something like this a secret is not good business, and is disrespectful to your loyal patrons
Sign said Best food in town and I can't disagree! The food isn't cheap but it's definitely worth the price. It was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We will be back.
Changing from five stars. Restaurant must be under new management, as the most recent visit was a huge contrast with the previous quality of food and service.Stuffed mushrooms were served as a soup. All salads came out with the wrong dressing. They wouldn't let my wife order a kids meal without the red sauce for our 2 year old... Does it really hurt you to *not* pour the sauce on top and avoid a mess at the table you have to clean?Very disappointing as this used to be one of the best Italian restaurants on the coast.
This was our first visit but we will definitely be back. The house dressing is unusually good and the entre portions plentiful as well as delicious. The ambiance is simple and unpretentious; the service friendly and good. Well done, Joe's!
Stopped in on Saturday to dine around noon time. Ordered salads and entrée. Wife wanted Gluten Free pasta due to allergies. When salads came out they looked old and unappetizing. The server then informed us that they were out of Gluten Free pasta. I told her that we would not eat since my wife's entrée could not be provided. She said, well she could eat without the pasta. If you go to an Italian restaurant you want pasta. She then asked if I still wanted my entrée. Needless to say we got up and walked out. This was our first time trying this place and will be the last. We are tired of places that don't seem to really care about providing a good meal or dining experience. You would think that since we were the only people dining that they would have done better. And how can you not have pasta in your pantry. You offer it and then don't bother to buy it. And this was early so there was no big run on it.
Really heartbreaking experience. I was excited to try this place after reading reviews and it being fairly close to our home. Myself and my teenage daughter went out in search of supporting a local business rather than visiting Olive Garden. Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted and seated where we began to look at our menus. Immediately after ordering all service ceased. Our food came out very fast yet we were deprived basic courtesies, that neighboring tables received.( salt, pepper, refills, bread etc.) The food left much to be desired and the service was even worse. I hate to believe that this restaurant does not serve ALL of its community equally. Terrible experience, will not go back.

Good to see Joe's Italian busy tonight..excellent Calamari as usual.. everything good
Targeted at local families this is a good place to go for authentic Italian cooking. I recommend the veal parmigiana. Prices are very reasonable and portions large
Good food and reasonable prices. First time eating there and will definitely be going back.
The best Pizzas in town! Their pizza bread alone is worth having. Great Italian menue and Specials. Restaurant has a nice ambience and friendly efficient staff.
Food is okay, not excellent, but good. The rolls and the chicken in my chicken Parmesan were both microwaved. The service is terrible. I went when it was slow with my girlfriend and the waitress there rolled her eyes at us with every question or request. She was visibly bothered by our presence and should find a new line of work. I have never not tipped in my life except for this case.
