Overhyped. If you have been to Japan don’t search for Japanese restaurants. I made the mistake of eating here. Fried rice was terrible. Looked nothing like the pictures advertised. And the sushi was made with the same rice. Rice tasted old. Sushi rice and fried rice are 2 completely different types of rice. Poke bowls are just made with Teriyaki sauce. Typical cliché. Nothing special. Another Japanese restaurant owned by non-Japanese.

Sushi and veggie spring rolls were out of this world. Sushi was very fresh and nicely presented. Staff were friendly and timely! Great place to get fresh sushi in this area.

This place is so good. The pictured item is the $20 sashimi thing and it's so fresh and delicious. Spicy edemame is on point. I have driven back here 4 times before Google added this restaurant!

Shocked at how good this place was. Quality and price are what one would wish for in San Francisco. I live in the New Orleans metro area and know many Japanese restaurants here, and I've also had Japanese in many places on the west coast, where the standards are very high (my first Japanese meal there was over 50 years ago, before many Americans ever dared to try Sushi/Sashimi) because, well, lots of Japanese residents, business people, etc. who demand and know the real deal. Everything here - sushi, sashimi, tempura - was perfect in ingredients, preparation and presentation, and all for a super price. So hurry, because this place can't stay in this out of the way, off the beaten path - in Mississippi, no less! - for very long. Just too good not to move up and on.

Above all the food was delicious. At first sight the restaurant is unassuming, on the small side some booths along the windows and the rest of the seating is your standard 4 seat tables. Not fancy but comfortable. We ordered an app which came out quickly. A bit of a wait for the sushi but honestly it didn’t matter. The presentation was opulent, the food tasted as good as it looked. Fresh and so good. The service was superb. It was worth the drive from Gulfport. Highly recommend giving them a try!

First time eating here tonight. Nothing extraordinary but a good and filling meal. We both had hibachi. Nice variety of veggies and they were not mushy. We also shared a Boston Bay roll. We would have liked it better without the breading and deep-fried.

This is on the top of my list for Japanese food. Me and my wife love it. I usually get the Yaki Soba or Yaki Udon with the summer roll. We are always seated right away and acknowledged as soon as we walk in. The servers are on top of the game when it comes to filling your drinks and getting your food. The building and atmosphere are pretty cool as well.

I had the Sushi Deluxe entre, 9 pcs sushi with tuna rolls. Presentation was very good and served in a special platter! Substituted salad and miso soup for squid salad for a $3 upcharge. The salad was excellent!

We returned again to one of the best Japanese restaurants along the Mississippi Coast. Here are a couple images of our lunch specials.
