Sakura Japanese sushi&hibachi

Food is bland. We live here in Long Beach and tried it 3 times before I finally gave this review. Egg drop soup watery and not much flavor. Just hot water with corn starch. Fried rice wasn’t very flavorful. Clean atmosphere and quick service. Staff was polite and professional.

This is my favorite spot for lunch and dinner whenever I travel to Long Beach, MS. The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly, and there’s never a long wait. I especially appreciate how quickly the meals are prepared and served — that’s so important during my business trips. Highly recommend this place for both great taste and excellent service!

Purchase a very large meal for several people for carryout. Three of the meals contain chicken which was evidently sitting under a heat lamp all day. I am definitely not a picky person but this chicken was so dried out and hard as a rock. Tried but we could not eat it.
The thing is they have had to known the chicken was like this. Butt served it to people anyways.

We order take out from here relatively frequently, and usually we don’t mind paying the higher prices that they charge because they are convenient and the food is usually good. However, we called in our dinner order today, and we got the same things we normally get which includes 2 orders of the crab stick sushi rolls. We picked up our order and get home and start unpacking the bag and realized that instead of giving us the 2 orders of sushi rolls, they accidentally gave us 2 orders of crab Rangoons. Not a big deal, accidents happen. I call up there to see if we could come exchange the Rangoon’s for our crab stick rolls that we initially ordered and the girl instantly had a really bad attitude. She finally agreed to let us exchange the food, and after going all the way back to the restaurant, she snatched the bag of Rangoons from us and she was just super rude the entire time. It really wasn’t a big deal to us, but takeout food, especially from this restaurant, is very expensive and we wanted the food that we ordered. There was no need to have such a bad attitude over a miscommunication that occurred on HER part. Not sure if we will be coming back here after today’s experience.

The food is delicious, cost efficient, and amazingly presented. The service is magnificent. The people are so nice and take very good care of your order. The atmosphere is amazing! From the lovely dining area to the soft piano tunes in the background, the atmosphere is quite elegant. I would 100% recommend this place.
