This place is so good. The pictured item is the $20 sashimi thing and it's so fresh and delicious. Spicy edemame is on point. I have driven back here 4 times before Google added this restaurant!
Shocked at how good this place was. Quality and price are what one would wish for in San Francisco. I live in the New Orleans metro area and know many Japanese restaurants here, and I've also had Japanese in many places on the west coast, where the standards are very high (my first Japanese meal there was over 50 years ago, before many Americans ever dared to try Sushi/Sashimi) because, well, lots of Japanese residents, business people, etc. who demand and know the real...
Above all the food was delicious. At first sight the restaurant is unassuming, on the small side some booths along the windows and the rest of the seating is your standard 4 seat tables. Not fancy but comfortable. We ordered an app which came out quickly. A bit of a wait for the sushi but honestly it didn’t matter. The presentation was opulent, the food tasted as good as it looked. Fresh and so good. The service was superb. It was worth the drive from Gulfport. Highly recommend...
