We ordered our food online through the app and it took 15 minutes just to come out when it came out. They were missing a sandwich out of our bag. We asked them to give it to us and it took another 20 minutes to come out once I received the sandwich, it was completely opposite of what I ordered and we had already left after being there for almost 45 minutes Horrible service, horrible food, and a horrible atmosphere.

An item was left off of the order. We drove back to get it and no one even offered an apology or something for the inconvenience. This is a reflection of management and it is disappointing!

The absolute worst establishment in Long Beach. Tear it down and replace it with literally ANYTHING else. It’s a bunch of kids that work here that could care less. Oh and you’ll have to backup 50 times to find a stall that the screen actually works in.. disgraceful. SHUT IT DOWNNNN.

70% of the drive in screens don’t work. Either completely blacked out or touch doesn’t work.
Probably the worse sonic I’ve ever been to. Food is always bad. They always forget the sauces that are SUPPOSED to be included; like marinara for cheese sticks or ranch. Even when you ask for extra, they don’t even include any. Grilled cheese is always burnt. The only thing they do right are drinks, usually…
Honestly this place should be looked into by the franchise because they shouldn’t be allowed to operate in this condition. Tired of parking and having to move because the screens don’t freaking work.

Usually an average fast food experience. Fries not full, subpar service, and a staff that’s more worried about themselves than the experience of the customer. The food is hot most of the time which is the only reason I still went there. Tonight I do not see myself going back in the future. I arrive at the restaurant at 10:50pm to order a burger but to my disappointment I will not be ordering a burger. The employee informs me that they shut down their grill and there are currently chemicals on it to which she offers me to buy something else and I politely refuse. As a manager of a fast food restaurant I do not find it acceptable in an industry that is centered on convenience to shut down any equipment that is required to cook or maintain food before closing.

I recently visited the Sonic Drive-In in Long Beach around 7:40 PM. The parking lot wasn’t busy—there were maybe five cars in the stalls. As I sat in my stall, I was browsing the menu since I don’t frequent Sonic often. I had a general idea of what I wanted to order but was planning to add more items.

However, the employee taking my order seemed rushed and cut me off by stating my total before I could say, "Wait." I found this frustrating because there was no visible reason for the rush, considering how slow the evening seemed. When I tried to ask for his name, no one would provide it.

On a positive note, Abigail, who delivered the food, was fantastic. She was quick, efficient, and brought a much-needed bright spot to the experience.

While Abigail’s service stood out, the initial interaction left me disappointed. I hope this Sonic location improves communication and customer care.
As a general atmosphere perspective it's like any other Sonic but it seems that a couple of the stalls haven't been repaired in a couple years so it makes it frustrating whenever you pull into a stall just for it to be not working.

got a witches brew and didn’t put the boba in!!! extremely disappointed and will be contacting corporate! my grandson bob was so excited to try it but was insanely disappointed when there was no boba! false advertising!!

Food is typically good, and I've never had any complaints about service in the past few years! But good golly. The screens here never work. I can't count the number of times I've had to switch stalls more than twice just to get a screen that works. The screens are either out completely, frozen, or the touch-screen feature isn't working, which means I can't tip on card or even select my payment type. Not sure who's in charge of making sure maintenance is up to date, but please take this as a sign to get the screens fixed.
