Not sure about the food but I do waiting for a table is a disorganized mess.

Waited an hour and a half. Had to approach an employee to find out they were having computer issues and did not know when it would be fixed. Found out they knew this my entire wait. Thar is rude to your customers. Left without eating.

I got the buffet and the food was good and no problem with the waitress. The buffet set up is ridiculous I mean this place is pretty big and was packed. The buffet is about half the size it needs to be to accommodate that many people. The pans for the fried shrimp and fish as u can see in some pics is half the size of the pan with the boiled shrimp. They at least need to be as big as the boiled shrimp and that wouldn’t be adequate for the crowd. Every time I went to buffet there was no shrimp and very few pieces of fish that were cold and soggy. There’s 3 separate dining areas one of them people can see the buffet and I take it as soon as they see them put out shrimp and fish they go get it. Which doesn’t take many to empty the pans except for the cold soggy pieces that’s been in there. I don’t blame these people I blame the restaurant for not having adequate supply on buffet for crowd. I even would ask employees when will more fried fish and shrimp come out and I wouldn’t stood there and wait which is ridiculous, but they all said I’m not sure. Seems they try to get u to fill up sides and boiled shrimp which most get tired of peeling especially since about half of the ones I got wouldn’t peel good. It’s a hr drive for me and I will give them another try and this time if I have to I will ask to speak to the manager r owner and try to get seated where I can see buffet which will be hard.
Just a short drive from Mobile, quaint, friendly...say hello to William, the cutest 4 year old future mayor if Lucedale Ms.

Our family had 5 children and 7 adults, and we had the best experience. The food was great, and the crablegs were cooked perfectly, and our server Jessica made sure we never ran low with refills of them. I will definitely be back and letting my friends know about DJ's

I had a great time only because I was with a great group of people from my church.
In my opinion, everything was overpriced. I should have known not to eat from the buffet since it was $17.99 each for both me and my wife, and we couldn't eat $17.99 worth of food if it had gold in it, and I don't eat seafood. So, not a great experience for close to a $50 tab.
Do not go here unless you are starving and can put away a lot of seafood.

Can you please replace the two American flags outside that have holes in them and look horrible. As I sat on the porch waiting for our table it was hard to look at them in such poor condition. Thank you.

Service was good and restaurant was very clean however the buffet was not as good as it should be for the price. For a buffet that only had boiled shrimp (that you couldnt peel) and one type of catfish it shouldn't be called seafood. Yes we ordered the crab legs and i understand they try to conserve waist but every time they bring you more legs it seem they were selective of what you got. First batch was spot on , second batch had 2 medium clusters and the third basket had 2 clusters with only two small legs on each cluster, not even a claw. We drove an hour and half to try it because it has a good rating. I suppose its good for the locals because its convenient for them but its over rated for anyone wanting to get out and drive to somewhere different. For the locals if you wanna try a good seafood restaurant, take a evening drive and try popwells in kocomo past columbia on 98 west. See what a real seafood restaurant looks like.

My family of 5 ate at DJs after our sons preschool graduation. Alot of the crowd from the ceremony followed to the restaurant. Despitw that the food was delicious and service was great! I will say it was a little pricer than we expected but steak and seafood isn't cheap options even for Lucedale. Definitely recommended eating here for a nice family dinner.
Wheelchair accessibility: Husband uses a wheelchair and the grounds are accessible.
