Favorite place to eat in Lucedale! Always friendly staff, 1st place best beef brisket around this area according to my Texas Hill Country dad. One of my favorites is the pork belly burnt ends and their homemade pimento cheese!

What a great experience. While traveling I wanted some dinner in this menu screamed my name. I sat down and wasn't in my seat 2 minutes and they were pouring me a drink and asking me what I'd like to eat. The service was great. The staff - so polite and the food was better than anyone could have told me. The brisket literally melted in my mouth and the collard greens were the greatest I've ever had. If you're in Lucedale you have to stop into this place. Highly highly recommended.
Small town restaurant with a lot to offer! It's in downtown, which gives it that hometown inviting atmosphere. The dining area seemed pretty small and low on seating. If everyone has the experience we had there, they're going to have to add on or move to a bigger building. EVERYTHING we got was great! All the meat had just the right amount of seasoning and smoke. All the sides were flavorful, not like they just got poured out of a can or taken out of the freezer and put on a plate. Our server, April, was very personable and worked hard to make sure we had a pleasant experience.

Didn't know this place was there untill i passed by today (i dont live in Lucedale). Called in an order for brisket and pulled chicken and i must say it was delicious! Mac n cheese is up there with the best ive ever had and everything was fresh. Will definately be back each time i come to town for work.
Only negative would be the quantity of brisket but given the price and quality i do get it.

I rarely get out this way, but all of the food was so good I keep thinking of making a trip over just for it. All of the portions are just right, and cooked to buttery, melt in your mouth perfection. April was on point-- friendly, attentive, and I'm so glad I followed her advice of trying queso with the pork skins, goodness...and the burnt ends! There's not enough good barbecue around here, so I'm very glad I made the trip!

I rarely if ever come to Lucedale, but found myself in town on a Sunday. Shockingly this joint was open. Our waitress April was 10/10. She was attentive, accurate, and didn't hover around too long. A rare combo. We had the burnt ends, brisket, fried okra, greens,and the pork rinds. Everything was good, which is also rare. On top of all of this the pricing was great! It took me an hour and a half to get to this place, but I'll be back. I will drive out of my way to eat this BBQ, and you should try the place as well.
