We have visited this restaurant before their expansion. Always were impressed with their food. This time not so much. They were sidewalk menu board Catfish. We really like catfish, so we went in. It was Saturday and they were very busy. We ordered a beer each, in a bottle, they didn't have draft. It was delivered in the bottle with no offer of a glass. The food was delivered and we dug in only to be very disappointed. The cornmeal breading on the fish was very musky smelling. We were hungry and tried, but only were able to eat about half of the fish, even smothering with tarter sauce. The waitress picked up our plates that were obviously not eaten. No question, Was the food ok? It was very obvious that it wasn't. So far, I am not impressed. We visit restaurants regularly. If we had left that much food on the plate anywhere else, it would have been noticed. This won't be our first place next time we visit this town.

I was in town for work and Landmark came highly recommended. This place certainly did not disappoint! The atmosphere here was excellent and had a very homey feeling, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Service was too notch and the waitress was more than happy to guide us through what to get and point out top items! The food also did not disappoint. Was it the greatest thing I have ever eaten, no, but for the price and speed holy cow. The steak I ordered was seasoned to perfection and was much better than steaks I have paid WAY more for. Of my work travels ever bring me back to the area I will be in again.

Oooooohhhhh I love this place! Take your family there. Take your sweetheart there. Take your grandma there, whoever. It’s good. It’s real good. Nestled in the quaint downtown area of Lucedale, MS, in a very old building with a lot of character, but clean ?. Food is always fantastic, service is great, people are friendly. I highly recommend Landmark Cafe. It has a great menu with some old standards as well as some unique dishes, all good. Everyone in my circle agrees, and it has a great reputation. ❤️
Parking: It’s usually easy to find a free spot on Main Street in front of the restaurant. If not, there’s a parking lot behind it. May need to walk a short distance. Well worth it!
