You can smell the sugary goodness as soon as you get near the building. From home made cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, Chantilly cups and candy to custom cakes Mrs Short does it all and is probably the best in Lucedale. I can not recommend Shortcakes enough.

This place is so delightful, I like to stop in when we’re in the area and try new things from this bakery. The banana pudding is so good, every thing I’ve ordered has been delicious though.
We made a little day trip from Axis, Al to Lucedale today and found this little gem. The best German Chocolate Cupcake I have ever had in the cutest shop and the most friendly staff. I sure do wish I lived closer. 😃
