Quick brunch before church and was happy to have a choice. Most all my reviews on WH are same, the service was great as always and the prices are fine. The chef(s) were off their game(seemed to be 3 or 4) and thats highly unusual but alas, we would still go back. The bar isn't that high here. Big bonus: God allowed for some sweet souls to actually cover our meal unexpectedly! Thankful.

Came in at a busy time; patiently, graciously and quietly waited with my 2 year old and 10 year old. Sat for 40 min. No “be with you as soon as we can.” No “can I get your drinks”, nothing. Several people were sat after us, got service and food before us. We sat and I occupied a hungry toddler. After 40 min and after business slowed, I nicely asked a serve if someone could help us. Received an unnecessary, rude response from that server, Jadyn. I did not deserve that. You get busy, people get overlooked, things happen - I get it. But the way you treat people? You can control that. She complained about me to another server who I’m sure was less than thrilled to pick us up - but she did. She was kind and so was I. Easy peasy. Food was good, tipped her 50% and off we went.

The manager here is fantastic. Very truck-driver friendly, very friendly period! The whole staff was exceptionally nice, even the lady coming on shift who happened to get the door when I was leaving. 50 stars!!!

We always enjoy the coffee. We go sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. Sometimes, it's family time. Seeing we live about an hour away from each other. Sometimes we eat. But, we always go for that waffle House coffee. Yummy 😋.
