I have traveled HWY 49 for the past 35 years many times, and this was my first time to try Berry’s in MAGEE. It was EXCELLENT! We dined around 11:30 on a Saturday. The buffets include a salad buffet - everything you could want to make a green salad, potato salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, cocktail shrimp, fruit salad…..The vegetable buffet offers all kinds of cooked vegetables (potatoes, greens, black eyed peas, Lima beans, sweet potatoes, squash, fried okra, succotash…& the vegetable beef stew with yeast rolls is great! The meat buffet offers seasoned baked catfish, fried chicken & fried chicken livers, ribs that melt in your mouth, fried shrimp, baked chicken, pork chops…the servers are very friendly & available, and the restaurant is very clean. Definitely 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Service was excellent. Catfish was great. Deserts were ok, not great. Meal is overpriced in my opinion, over $30 each for lunch. I was expecting more seafood, I was told they did put some fried shrimp out. I had Catfish, boiled shrimp, hush puppies, liver. It was 4 out of 5 stars, The desserts were ok 3 out of 5. Not homemade. Banana pudding needed to have more flavor. Atmosphere is 5 out of 5. Really nice. Lunch prices 3 out of 5. Too pricey.

I had just seen this advertised on Facebook, so of course on our way back him to Caddo Parish I HAD to stop buy and see what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you it was everything I expected. This buffet food was fresh. Can not wait to go back .
