Cattle Drive Grill & Waterin’ Hole

I stopped in on my way through town for a bite. It was probably not the best timing, they'd had a busy weekend and were out of most items, ribeye, porterhouse, t-bone, filet, so choices we limited. I had the KC strip ordered medium rare, and burger ordered medium.
The steak was probably closer to medium, and the burger medium rare, but both were still were pretty good. Steak was a little thinner than I like, burger as well.
Was not real familiar with the KC strip, it had a tougher fat than say a ribeye. That may be normal for this cut, I'm not sure.
I'll give them another shot when passing through.

Some of the best food I have ever eaten! All menu items at The Cattle Drive & Grill are farm-to-table fresh and well prepared. The restaurant is decorated so cute and everyone is so welcoming & friendly. There’s also an outdoor area with a fire pit. And, there are a couple of pool tables & live music for those that want to stick around a bit after they’ve enjoyed their meal. Oh, and the big steer outside makes a great photo op for families! Kids love it! I live about 45 minutes away but it is well worth the drive. What a treasure the City of Magee has with this WONDERFUL establishment! The owner is a true visionary and has worked tirelessly to provide her customers with what they deserve - the very best. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to The Cattle Drive!

I eat lunch at the Cattle Drive most days of the week. Naomi is usually the waitress and she is hands down the most friendly and accommodating person I’ve ever met. Ms Clara in the kitchen is also the best ! 10/10 recommend the Cattle Drive!

If you are black DONOT stop here. No service and no care so just don't stop period. It felt like Mississippi burning members only type vibe.

My absolute favorite place in Magee to go for amazing food, great drinks, and fun times while I'm traveling for work. Their food is top tier!

Worst food rotten food salad had rotten tomatoes over priced steak potatoe that was just pot roast advertised as steak will never go back my family ain't picky eaters at all but when you pay the price we expect even half way decent food the only thing that's was good was the drinks I would be totally ashamed of serving that to any costumers up update....... we did tell our waitress we still had to pay for the rotten potato things we had two of them I hope the owners see this

Stopped on a whim, after searching for restaurants. Travel this route about every other month and never searched this area. Man, have I been missing out! The food was good; the atmosphere was laid back and appears “local-friendly”. BUT, “Amanda #2” made us feel at home. Not only was she a great server, but she matched wits with my husband so well, he bought her a pack of meat sticks from the farm store. (The farm store is the amazing meat market below the restaurant.) Stop here, if you can. I’ll be back. Actually, we may be back on Sunday on our way home!!!

We weren't fans of this restaurant. One server was available for the entire place on a Saturday night, while others who appeared to also work there sat around on their phones and talking, not helping out. So our appetizers came out cold nearly at the same time as our entrees. The blue cheese meatloaf entree was good though. The live band was nice to listen to as well. But we'd prefer to try somewhere else next time we're back in town.

Really disappointed with the burgers my son and I got at lunch today. They were bland and sweet somehow. Way overcooked for medium rare.
It’s such a beautiful atmosphere. And the men at the bar were really kind!

We live in Pearl, Ms and are always looking for new places to eat. This is one of the Best we have found. Great Food and Great Atmosphere. Love this place.
