⭐️ 1 Star – Absolutely Unacceptable Service
I stopped at Hardee’s in Magee, MS (Highway 49) on December 13th around 12:00 PM, and this was hands down one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had.
I simply asked for fries with no salt. The employee refused and said, “I can’t drop new fries because I might splash oil on my shirt.” That is the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard in food service. If you’re afraid to do your job, you shouldn’t be working in a kitchen.
To make it worse, she STILL gave me fries with salt, completely ignoring my request. The burger patty was cold, and when I asked for BBQ sauce, she rolled her eyes and sighed like I was asking for something unreasonable.
On top of that, the same employee went outside for a smoke break and came back in handling food without washing her hands. That’s not just bad service — that’s a health concern.
Look — truck drivers already deal with enough disrespect daily. We stop to spend $15 on overpriced processed food, and this is the service we get? Eye-rolling, attitude, laziness, and zero care for food safety?
If you don’t want to work, go home. The fast-food industry is failing because places like this keep staff who clearly do not care about customers or their jobs.
Management seriously needs to retrain or replace the 12 PM staff. This location has completely missed the mark on basic customer service and professionalism.

Tamira's smile and service was the reason we came back. She was attentive and had command presence, ensuring employees were gainfully employed. Jasmine was also very personable. We will definitely be back. The food was great. Biscuits were buttery and delivious, tater tots were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. Food was served hot and orange juice ice cold.

after a 10 hour drive, we stopped and we’re almost home. stopped at Hardee’s to get breakfast. had to turn around and go inside due to order wrong. the person was kind, went back to make it herself as everyone else was busy and stayed positive.

Obnoxiously rude and unprofessional staff.
My mom just purchased a drink, but when she tried to fill it, the Hi-C option on the drink machine was broken. Instead of going down into the cup, several different colors of liquid sprayed her shirt.
She walked up to the counter and was ignored for an unreasonably long time. After the cashier continued making others’ orders, pretending as if my mother didn’t exist, my mom loudly asked if she could get a drink. The cashier asked what was wrong, and my mom explained the situation. She only went to Hardee’s instead of Love’s because they had Hi-C, and she JUST wanted them to fill her cup from the drive-thru machine or refund her if they were going to refuse to fill it.
After several employees were incredibly disrespectful they finally decided my mother could have the drink that she paid for. It was that easy; easy for them to fill a cup of Hi-C and for us to decide that we will never visit another Hardee’s again.
