Joses Restaurant & Grill

I met with a friend for lunch in the Magee area. This restaurant was excellent. The food was very good, the service was friendly and quick. I loved the Christian music playing in the background.

Traveling with my grandsons'. We came here because the youngests name is Jose. We met the owner also Jose. He was very nice, went around and checked on all of the guests several times. When we told him the little guys name he went and found a Jose's crew shirt and signed and dated it for him. So awesome. The food was really good and the staff very friendly and great customer service. It was a great time all around.

Very clean (including the restrooms), very friendly staff, quick service, good food in large portions. Giant drinks (literally a small pitcher... Lol) and delicious desert! Wonderful dining experience.

Salsa tastes like store bought taco sauce and when we asked to just go somewhere else after looking at the bare menu they charged us 10 dollars to leave for the chips and a drink. Also a dry county so no alcohol!

Food was excellent but took forever to get our food. It was 45 minutes from order to receiving our meals.

Service was excellent!
Water was fresh & huge pitcher for cups so hardly need refills!
Servers were so kind & nice/friendly!
Place was clean and we were sat fast.
Salsa was tasty and chips were great!
Prices are fair.

Cons
food could be more hot when served
the shrimp n grits was not good, needs more flavor and shrimp tasted a little off, cant pinpoint how but I eat alot of shrimp and they seemed not fresh.
Food flavors are off from our normal go to authentic Mexican cuisine in Oklahoma.

I'd give them another chance maybe!

AMAZING!! My new favorite restaurant! The food was exceptional. The service was the best anywhere! We got more food than we paid for! Jose himself greeted us and checked in throughout the meal. He seemed to know every regular customer as well as identify new customers! He treated us like family even though we had never been there before! We will certainly be back!
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!

the food was made from scratch. the beans the soups the sauces. great fried catfish. chips and queso amazing. the service was top notch.
