We are passing thru town. The Best Western girls suggested Jose’s. The chips were the best we have ever had! The salsa tasted like homemade! I had Chimichanga and Hubby had steak and shrimp. Both were amazing! My Chimichanga was sooo good!! I am so full now and I didn’t quite eat all of it! The staff was very nice. Hubby has very severe allergies so we have to be very careful about oil, etc. The first server went and got help. Carlos came over and was very good at finding out about ingredients. He was very friendly….and checked on us often! We definitely will stop here again when headed to Gulf Shores!!

Best coffee ever!!! I am a chai latte gal and it’s hard to find REALLY good ones. This one… is absolutely incredible! First, I got it hot and then asked if they could make it cold instead and they didn’t hesitate! So sweet!!! Great staff, super cute little spot, and amazing service! My 4 year old also got a frozen strawberry lemonade - so yummy!

My husband and I are coffee connoisseurs with pretty high standards. We travel a lot and have a good understanding of what to expect from different countries and regions. However, we did not expect to find the best coffee we’ve had this year at La Crema in Magee, Mississippi! We both agree that this is hands down the BEST coffee (hot or cold). The service was top notch and the coffee exquisite.Thank you La Crema!

Great stop through Magee, MS! This gem is on the left on a small hill next to the Walmart. We stopped for dinner on our way through Mississippi, and were very pleased. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. Hubbie got the hamburger steak steak with baked potatoe. I got the combo plate with chicken, shrimp and steak. Their salsa and chips is also great! The chips have a taco seasoning on them, and the salsa is fresh. We saved this as a favorite for our next trip through.

The owner of Jose's is very rude! For a family that proclaims to be Christian they definitely do not show the love of God!! I questioned an accidental overcharge by our waiter, the owner was very hostile and disrespectful to me. I forgive you and pray that you find the love of God in your heart once again. I would not recommend giving such an uncivil business your hard earned dollar.

Stopped here for a coffee driving home to Texas from Florida. It was delicious! The place is very clean and cute and the staff is professional and friendly. I got the iced caramel cinnamon roll latte and it was tasty! Definitely check it out!

Best Chips and Salsa. Good portions and good service. Very clean and several TVs. Will return to this location. Easy to locate, Next to Wal-Mart.

Stopped in for lunch. The restaurant was not very bust but it still took a while for the server to come out and take my order. Acted like he could care less and was dismissive at best. The food came out very quickly. It was faster than Taco Bell which tells me the food is sitting in a warmer ready to go. Not really the place for me, but others on this site seem to like it.

Cruising through town, saw the sign for Jose’s and decided to stop. Chips and Salsa warm and yummy. Had the steak fajitas and a beef chimichanga and enjoyed them very much. Fast friendly service. Atmosphere is very understated, but it really didn’t effect our wonderful stop. Pepsi products if you care. Will save this restaurant to our favorites.

We were disappointed that the restaurant did not serve beer and wine. Also, my husband ordered chicken tacos and got ground beef by mistake. The server fixed that. The food was pretty good overall.
