As far as service goes I wouldn’t even rate 1 star because the waitresses weren’t seen except for one time to bring paper towels a drank was spilled by my daughter I had to clean it up not one single employee offered to help at any point! We got charged a $40 gratuity total for a party of 5 adults & 1child!!!! That’s why the waitresses have bad attitudes and poor customer service they are guaranteed a tip even if they don’t do their job and take care of their customers!

Our server was amazing but the food was a different story. Mostly everything was cold. Thought maybe because it wasn’t fresh so I waited for it to be re stocked and was disappointed again. The only great thing was the corn in the cob from all the juices. Also went to the shop next door and prices were higher side for everything they were trying to sell.

Is the time change for opening the website says opening at 11 but not opening
I tried the buffet out because of the popularity. Of course I read the reviews first... but wanted to see for myself. The seasoning and cooking was inconsistent on the food. We got some spicy, some salty... some seemed fresh, some old... some overcooked. My grandmother and my great aunt couldn't really eat but we made the best of the outing.
Everything I ate was very good. The oysters could use a bit of salt but I know some people have to watch their salt intake.
I ate boiled gulf shrimp, red shrimp, ribeye, & my favorite snow crab legs!!! & although I can’t eat as much as the normal person, I definitely eat my moneys worth!!
Nowhere in MS or LA have I found such good seafood unlimited for $29.99!!!
Kid-friendliness: Family oriented place. Very friendly staff. I go as often as I can!!!

I have tried to posts but before I finish the post it automatically post it before I am finished so I will try again. So we arrived at 6:00 and waited a hour which I didn't mind if the food was worth it.We ordered 4 orders of Dungeness crabs. After an hour we still didn't have the crabs so we canceled the order. We went to the buffet to get snowcrabs. There was none.It took me 3 trips to the buffet to get crabs before I got any.Our party went to the buffet several times only to find there was no food on the buffet.I went there only to find no food and called the manager over which was a 18 year old filling in for her mom and dad that night.I told her was no food on the buffet after making several trips up there. She said it was coming out as fast as they could get it out.I said I understand but I am going to pay for food I can't get.I told her I didn't come there to eat red beans and rice which was on the buffet.I wanted some seafood.Again she said it was coming out as fast as they could get it.I told her to call her parents and tell them want was going on.She came back and told me that her parents were not coming up there and if we left to call the police.I had no intentions of leaving without paying but I wanted my food. After being 8:30 and having no food on the table we had enough and left.We paid $238.00 for food we never got and by now I am totally frustrated. We had a 6 year old that ate peas and a half cup of Mac and cheese and we paid $19.00 dollars for her. That is outrageous. They never even offered to reduced the bill after not receiving any food.People heard what she was telling me and they walked out.I will never step foot in that place again. They don't value their own business if you let a 18 year old run a restaurant on a Friday night when it's busy.If you can't supply the food to customers you should close the place down.Very unhappy and won't be back.

Amazing food omg is it worth a stop! My coworker and I were passing and stopped down the street for fuel and saw da cajun shack and figured why not. OMG was the Po Boy and the buffet was insane good. We're talkin definitely below I-10 level cajun cookin. Might have to make the 10 hr trip just to get another filling. And I am not joking, been craving it ever since.
