My brother told me about this place, saying their ribs are known for being “falling off the bone” tender. I’ve been there for 2 take-out “meat only” orders. Both orders had a slab of ribs, their half & whole chicken halves, and once each fo the pork chops and boudin. And, everything has been fantastic! A total of 3 of us have eaten both orders and have enjoyed the meats from there. The sides look delicious and I’ll eventually try those. I’ll definitely be back...
Oh how I LOVE their smoked chicken!!!! It is amazing!!! Their sweet potato casserole is one of my favorite sides. I have not tried the ribs yet, but the chicken seasoning puts Colonel Sanders to shame!
Excellent Ribs!This is one of the few places that I have experienced that did not disappoint when it comes to ribs. I am so impressed, I am writing this review, which I don’t do very often. The ribs are juicy tender fall-off-the-bone ribs and have great flavor. Our sides were good too - broccoli cheese and rice casserole, baked beans, potato salad, and apple cobbler.This restaurant is located in a Marathon service station.
