Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - McComb

Please train employees to read the room. While cleanup certainly needs to be done inside, perhaps it could wait until the 5 dine-in folks leave out. Or, if it is critical, at least train employees to pick up the metal chairs instead of dragging them across the concrete floor next to the dining patrons. (Five tables & 20 chairs in my brief 15 minutes there.) Eating while driving through road construction in McComb would have been less noisy.

I ordered a 7 piece tender meal. They allow you to choose two flavors when ordering certain size meals, so I ordered half "lemon pepper" and the other half "garlic parmesan". I, personally, enjoyed the lemon pepper tenders more than the garlic parmesan. The garlic parmesan ones seemed to be a bit excessive in flavoring in my opinion. The lemon pepper were definitely still lemon peppery, but just slightly more mild or subtle. They weren't over-powering like the others. The fries were hot and crispy. The house sauce is great with the tenders. I ordered my meal to go, but there is plenty of seating inside and it appears to be fairly clean when I visited. The employees weren't super friendly or inviting really, more of an over-tone of annoyance to be there from my point of view. Two versions of tea (sweet tea and a watermelon tea) were out & unavailable when I went to the drink station to fill my drink cup. The food made up for it. I'd order from here again, based on my first visit, but there are a couple things that would make the visit more pleasant.

The chicken and fries were pretty good. I got chicken “sauced” in buffalo sauce. The strips are kind of small though.

Food was okay, cashiers didn't seem too ready to take my order (even though nobody else was there) along with only half-paying attention while taking my order. Floor was insanely sticky, probably due to the sunlight heating whatever is on the floors

Very disappointed tonight , I was hungry and in a hurry to get home . So I went thru drive-thru to get 3 chicken fingers and fries . Got home and 2 small tenders in the box . As expensive as it is to eat out and then get shorted on your order , that's bad ?. I live in Ruth so of course its too far to drive back for 1 chicken tender . ?

Walked in at 8:50 and was told they closed the lobby, but sign said they were open until 10 pm. Great strategy to get a new customer.

Both locations Pearl, MS and McComb, MS excellent. My Son introduced me to the restaurant he has been to FL and MS. When we are traveling to New Orleans, LA from Monroe, LA we make sure we visit.

Immediately upon entering, we were greeted with a big Hello and smiles! Great start. We let them know this was our first time in a Huey Magoo’s and we were given a quick tour of the menu by the manager, TJ, and his favorites. After we were seated and had started eating, TJ approached us and asked if we liked spicy food and then proceeded to bring up their sweet heat sauce. Great sauce - much like a sweet Thia chili sauce. The menu has lots of options for a chicken tender place - nice! The service was incredible and so friendly. TJ, you run a great chicken place! Thank you for good food and even better service!
