Use to go to The Caboose when they were in Independence La. Lost track after they left Independence…… then stumbled across the website coming thru McComb! Had to stop and must say the food is still delicious! We were welcomed with a smile and the service was wonderful!! We truly admired the architecture and the warm atmosphere of the restaurant! Mr Kinchen gave us the history of the building which was very interesting! Highly recommend The Caboose. Thanks once again for the warm welcome!

Great food and service! They just might have the best seafood gumbo in Mississippi. We have had gumbo more times than we can count from Florida to Texas and this beat them all! The onion rings were delicious. We ate lunch on a Friday, around 11, and both got the catfish plate. They also had homemade mac and cheese. It was all wonderful. We will certainly be back for more!
