Couldn’t even get an associate to unlock the makeup isle. If you can’t have someone working there than don’t lock it.
For two hours this morning (since 7:20am) I had attempted to get a new tire from Car Care. This was a wild goose chase. First thing was told only one customer ahead. Cool, all I have is a DISMOUNTED TIRE. No need to take it off of anything. First thing they say is can't give a time estimate. ? #1. Next in line is what I was told. After nearly two hours of waiting "NEXT IN LINE" they were so kind to service the next 3 vehicles behind me. After having had waited all that time, a disrespectful employee from INSIDE overhears my vocal complaints, by stating that "APPOINTMENTS TAKE PRIORITY OVER WALKINS." With that I informed her, every surrounding customer, and employee that they lost your sale today. I will not be back. Walmart needs to shut down. Creating toxic employees because of poor quality control.
Rooms are very clean and staff was friendly.

Where do I begin, this store has so many problems it is unreal . I’ll start with the only people who are ever nice are the greeters there, with only a handful of exceptions. The employees will not help you, (except the night stockers) , they won’t speak even when I say hello, try very hard to ignore you in the checkout if you have a question, and forget it in self checkout. I frequent this store 2-3 times a wk. I cannot get help in electronics I am treated very rudely I feel because of my race, I’m ignored every time I go in there while the employees stand around talking, but when someone of their own race comes up, they immediately get waited on. I had almost decided never to go back when I decided to give online ordering a try, as I am disabled and have to use one of their scooters which are all about broken down because of teenagers playing on them at night, which is when I mostly shop,and they only have about 4 so I spend a lot of time waiting on one to become available but on the days the wait is too long I’m forced to go elsewhere. So the online ordering was always a disaster. They never got my order right, either it was the wrong item but similar to which they never asked if it was ok to substitute, or most every time I did not recieve some things I had paid for. Whoever I talked to every time said I’d have to take it up with the mgr. my word against theirs! And they never gave me any kind of reciept showing what they were giving me to match against my order. And we’re very rude about it all…I can’t help you, or mam I don’t know, or I’m the only one here you’ll have to wait till tomorrow and come back! Well 2wks ago I was told my order wasn’t ready, they were the only person there and I’d have to wait and come back next day, and I was never notified about anything, just a text saying my order was ready! I had to wait an hour for a scooter then go to the service desk to get some help with this as I needed my groceries! But to my surprise the night mgr was very nice and apologetic and enlisted the help of some night stockers who then got my order, or most of it, several items got left off but I figured I did good to get that much I better not complain! And I never complain until things get to the point of being ridiculous and I cannot take anymore. I am there now. I love Walmart but this store needs help, you can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone to even speak to a mgr. and the checkers and people working the self checkouts are so rude it is unreal. I don’t know if it’s just a problem with me because I am disabled and on one of their broke down little scooters that go so slow or what but I’ve never been to a Walmart anywhere that the whole store seemed to have an attitude. I’ve never in all honesty dealt with the pharmacy or automotive so I don’t include them and the night stockers have always been nice and helpful, but everywhere else needs help desperately . Thank you for listening, I hope this improves soon or I’ll have to take my money elsewhere, and I spend a lot of it at Walmart every week! K. Walling
(Long explination) I went through the self check out, I was tired and wanted to get out of there and the machine wasn't able to give me all my change, so the machine owed me 75$ and the machine only spit out a 5$ and a receipt saying it couldn't give me the rest of the 70$ it owed me, most the machines were "card only" for paying options, but I hate using my card. And this one machine i was pointed to by the gentleman watching over the self check out was available for cash purchases which I thought was cool of him to point it out to me, ANYWAYS so I took my receipt to the customer service and they got right on making sure that the machine was changed to card only right after I left the machine and they got me my 70$ back. Though it was inconvenient, the customer service was awesome, and I appreciate that more than anything. They weren't rude, they didn't act like I was the problem, I wasn't freaking out on them, maybe this was why they were really cool, they were likely expecting me to throw a fit, cause so many do. Ive got to give these Walmart workers a little credit, they deal with some miserable people who want to make everyone pay for their misery, so to see a smile on Walmart greeters faces and they ask how we are doing like they know us, and for them to get right on getting the problem fixed made me really calm and happy and worth giving the compliment. They must have hired new people or trained them better. There are a few lovely ladies that work here that I adore, and I've only experianced a few crappy employees here who act like you are bothering them, but I havnt seen them for a while. Maybe they dont work there anymore. I hope not. Or I hope they realized how important customer service is.
Truth be told I'm not always a fan of Walmart, especially the one here because usually it's dirty and nasty, and some products are screwed up or open or in the wrong place because of nasty people in this area that have no respect for anyone or anywhere and let their kids thrash the store or they put somthing they dont want in the wrong isle instead of taking it back. The Walmart I frequented up north (I moved here from Idaho a couple years ago) wouldn't have put up with that. They kept everything really clean and picked up and stocked properly. And it looks like they are trying now at this location in McComb to do the same.
I can see things are being taken care of more often that hadn't been before. More people are dealing with customer service issues better too.
Dear WALMART, I hope you read this...... one bad thing (not a threat just a plea)
Please don't make it impossible for people to use cash to buy their purchases and please don't make the store here in McComb, MS have to mostly use the self check out. I REALLY REALLY MISS being able to go through a check out line and deal with a person face to face and not focus so much on rushing and if I scanned stuff properly and feeling like I'm doing somthing wrong when somthing doesn't scan or it does and I put it in the bag but the alarm says I bagged somthing without scanning it. If you do want to continue making it all this impersonal I will elect to start shopping somwhere else, people who slend money in your store shouldnt be forced to ring up and bag their own stuff if they dont want to. And the "card only" thing is really ruining it for me as well.

My husband was tickled by the employees that work in the hot case section. The employees were very helpful and extremely joyful ?
This is the worst walmart in the south
Edit: when they installed self checkout, things seemed to improve a bit simply because it was faster and you didn’t have to deal with anybody but even with automation, the incompetence management manages to make visiting this hellhole a way to ruin your day. This morning the self checkout area had 2 operating checkouts out of ten. Yesterday I stopped in the parking Walmart in Amite,La and the experience was so much better that it felt like it was in Disneyland.
This Walmart has single handedly turned me against the chain. I've defended Walmart in the past from friends who simply don't like the Waltons etc but this store is so poorly run and cluttered that it makes you never want to return. I used to use Walmart for tires and batteries so I could get follow up service everywhere but my last experience with their auto center was so bad that I'll never go back.
Of course they've become basically the only choice for a lot of things so I'll return but can somebody please get a Target in here?
Great selection, good prices, and friendly employees. Walmart is very important to our community.

I've been in Pike county on and off for 60 something years originally from Magnolia we were happy when this store got here but today it is a nightmare if you dare ask an employee about anything the response could be anywhere from this is not my department too just playing out and go to hell it's very sad McComb very ?
I usually like coming Walmart but tonight has pissed me off. I have done asked 5 people to come unlock the dresser room for me to try on clothes. It took them almost 30 minutes to hour to finally get over there in at the department
I like going to WALMART, cause my big brother work there.
