I ordered 4 hamburgers at 5:25 and they said they would be ready in 30 minutes . 6:05 I arrive and they said sorry it wasn’t ready be another 45 minutes so me being me and understanding things happen like that sometimes I said no problem I’ll wait . 7:00 arrives and they say we are fixing to start cooking it now , so I said keep your food I’ll go elsewhere . Also they don’t accept debit or credit cards so are they outdated or just possible tax evasion? I will never go back and I will highly recommend the same for others .

After finally finding the correct number to call in a to go order we were told the wait was 30 minutes. When we arrived well after 30 minutes of ordering we were told 45 more minutes. We waited understanding maybe tonight was a busy night. Not very many people were there. After waiting another 45 minutes we went back to the pick up window and we were told they were just now about to start on our order. We ordered 4 simple cheeseburgers. So over an hour and a half later we still had no food. They also don’t take cards so either they are scared to upgrade or tax evasion. Maybe a little of both!

I’ve been coming here since 2009. The service and people that have worked here are always kind. The food excellent. This is the only restaurant left in Monticello. And it’s worth the 12-mile drive from Monticello. The prices are fair. Last week I went to the “Uptown BBQ and Grill” paid $18.00 for a ice cream scoop of chicken salad, a 10 pieces of fried pickles and unsweet tea. Wish I would have drove the 12 miles to “Nanny’s”

The food is sooo good. I always get the seafood stuffed potato and it is filling and delicious! The staff never disappoints. You feel like family from the time you walk in until the time you leave. Highly recommend!
