Nice, clean, country bbq joint right off I-22. You can hop off eat, and hop right back on the interstate. BBQ is good, and the sauce is great. Best side are the beans. Outstanding! Other items than traditional bbq are available, and some of my favorites are the burger, smoked sausage, and the smoked turkey sandwich. They offer catering portions as well that are reasonably priced. Staff is friendly with fast service. Small salad bar is available as well. You will pay the fee if...
I meet my cousin here for lunch when I visit each year. (It's near her home.) The food is always satisfactory. Today's brisket was difficult to cut and pretty bland, he mac and cheese tasted boxed, and the fried okra was okay. I ordered pie but realized on the way home that they failed to provide a slice and I forgot to remind them. It's never been terribly busy so that's a plus. This place is nothing special, but it is convenient.
