If you find yourself passing through Mt. Olive, you absolutely have to stop by MOM's Seafood and Steak. This place is a total hidden gem. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and welcoming; it feels just like having dinner at an old friend's house. The service is top-notch—the staff is friendly and attentive, and our food came out quickly even though the place was packed. The portions are generous, and the seafood is as fresh as it gets. It’s conveniently located right on Main Street, so you can’t miss it. This is Southern hospitality at its absolute finest!

Drove from about 30 minutes away got here at 6:00 and they’re closed on a Saturday. What kind of business says they’re open but they’re not? Kind of ridiculous and wasted an hour minimum of my time. I even called around 3:30 and asked if they had crawfish and they said they had some, but didn’t take the time to tell me they’d be closed early for whatever reason. I can’t stand businesses that say “open” but then are closed after I make the drive to go there.

MOM’s is a fantastic little southern steak and seafood joint! We were ripping down the highway and just happened to turn around and come back to Mount Olive to check out MOM’s. It turned into not only a great dinner, but an hour long life lesson. Can’t wait to go back!
The ladies are very sweet and nice, and the food is great! Came in for a turkey sandwich. Highly recommend this restaurant.
