The food has always been 5/5 cooked with love. Went today to get some chicken Alfredo that was recommended to me by the young woman working (don’t know her name) but it was AWESOME. I hope y’all stick around forever I love yall 🔥

As a former Waitress there i would not recommend this restaurant to ANYBODY. The food is horrible, staff is terrible, overpriced and the atmosphere isn’t that great. On top of that let me tell you from first hand experience NOT a single box of gloves is being used, I worked here for almost a year and there is an entire rack full of unused untouched gloves. All the food you eat has been touched by unwashed hands. When I would use gloves for the salad bar the owner would laugh at me, ask why and where I found them. The owner talks horribly about every customer, not a single bit of love or kindness goes on in this business. This restaurant ONLY cares about your money. This is not a review in spite or hate only to try and warn others who are curious about coming here.

Sunday Lunch Buffet, arrived at 12:48 p.m., with my family, so 13 of us; 3 pieces of bone-in chicken and other missing items, I knew my grands, would want chicken, so I asked before we sit down, and was assured more would be cooked, my 14 yr old asked how long about 5 minutes later and was told 20 minutes; when we left at 1:55 p.m. still no more chicken and over age 6 charged as adult buffet, 2 adults opted not to eat due to absences on the buffet, and I had to convince the girl at the register I shouldn't be charged for my 1 year old granddaughter who chewed on a piece of bread, this is the first time I didn't add a tip, to my bill, so with 4 adults, 2 early teenagers, plus 2 children pre-teens over age 6, and 2 children under age 6, my party of 10 was charged over $160.00 dollars, I will and did pay what you charge, but you need to provide adequate food, especially when you commit to do so; Mike Gonzales when you owned it, I ate there at least 3 Sundays per month, with friends and family and I was happy paying, tipped generously and left happy and filled: I realize change is a part of life, but this is a serious downturn;

I have to tell everyone about my first experience with the Cotton Gin Cafe this past Saturday evening. From the very beginning, our waitress was so patient with my grand daughters, who can be a little bit extra, and us as we placed our orders. Before we were able to get our food, a tornado warning came, and we had to go to the back hallway for safety. As we went through the kitchen to the back area, I noticed how clean it was. After the warning was over, we planned to leave because we thought the ladies would want to go home, but they were so gracious and insisted they didn’t mind staying. We received our food, and all of us talked about how good our meals were. Cotton Gin Cafe, you receive 5 stars for service, food, and price. We will be back.

Most food containers on the buffet were empty. Food there was dried out or not cooked good or seasoned. $14.99 + was a bit much to swallow.
