I'm from Kentucky and had to come stay in nearby Shannon, MS for about a month for work. A friend told me about The Father's Table and it quickly became my favorite place to have lunch. Feels like a Sunday after church lunch with family. ❤️

I definitely recommend The Father's Table. It's not fancy. But they really make you feel welcome and at home. The service was great. And the FOOD! they don't cook the food till you order it and it is served pipping hot. We had the double cheeseburger, fries and shared an order of cheese sticks. The burger is m ade from 100% pure ground beef and cooked to perfection. And their prices are very reasonable. My only suggestion to them would be that they would be open on Saturdays and Sundays.
