A very sweet, family run restaurant. You can tell it’s a locals’ favorite. Just a few buildings down from the Piggly Wiggly, next to a repair shop. Went there for lunch. They have a hot bar, with your choice of entree and two sides for $10. Today was a delicious looking meatloaf or chicken spaghetti, choice of candied carrots, mashed potatoes, beans, fried okra. We chose to order off the menu for a hamburger and cheese burger (They were out of the pulled pork and hotdogs)...
I'm from Kentucky and had to come stay in nearby Shannon, MS for about a month for work. A friend told me about The Father's Table and it quickly became my favorite place to have lunch. Feels like a Sunday after church lunch with family. ❤️
God fearing people who love their community and can throw down in the kitchen! Want a clean Godly atmosphere with some deep south home cooking check my folks out!!!!
