Loved it! Love the atmosphere, the service and the delicious food which came in generous portions. It was my first time and I will definitely be going back.

I ordered from Ciao Chow for the first time tonight. I’ve always heard really good things about this place, and since moving to New Albany, it’s one that I had not tried before. I was a little disappointed, especially spending a lot of money for the food. The fettuccine and spaghetti were very bland and lacking in taste. Almost no taste at all, if I’m honest. The fettuccine was almost like creamy noodle water and the sauce for the spaghetti was like getting a can of tomato sauce and dumping it on top of noodles. I was hoping for a good experience but it definitely did not live up to the hype. I ended up trashing the food. It could definitely use more flavor. Otherwise, I don’t recommend the food at all.

The owner of this restaurant is one of the friendliest restaurant owners I’ve come across, He made a point of greeting every customer who walked in and visited tables. We shared the gnocchi with marinara sauce with spinach and chicken. It was pretty good. We also had a small antipasto salad which was a generous serving. When we told the high school age server we wanted to share the gnocchi, he said “he wasn’t allowed” to bring an extra plate. We made do with our empty salad plate, but really? He never came back to the table (although the owner did to see how things were) and our server didn’t bother to ask us if we wanted dessert before bringing our check. This kid could use some training. But overall, Ciao Chow is a decent place for Italian food (I’m Italian and have high standards).

Cute little place in a cute town! The people were so friendly. Mike treats you like family and the servers are great! We had the crab cakes, crab tortellini, and fettuccine. It was yummy!

Ciao Chow is, without exaggeration, the best Italian food in all of north Mississippi. The food, atmosphere, and location are outstanding. It’s nice to have such a great restaurant right here in our backyard!

Crab cakes are out of this world!! I've had crab cakes from a lot of places even in different states but theirs beats everything! And their pasta is delicious!

friendly, welcoming atmosphere for the entire family to enjoy. the staff are kind and gentle with children. we needed a little accommodation due to a medical issue, the staff were very helpful. we were well attended to even though the restaurant was full. Food was wonderful. It was evident they didn't just find someone who can boil water. I feel we underpaid! wonderful experience. We would recommend.

We called ahead to find out what the wait would be and decided to go ahead and go. Upon arriving, we found that they had reserved a table for us which was awesome. A man greeted us and told us how much he appreciated our business and told us what kind of specials they had. We had a waiter as well, but this man checked up on us periodically as well to make sure everything was perfect. The food was astoundingly good, you can tell they put some Italian love into it. We will be back as often as we can to support this awesome restaurant.

I expected a dish served that was well presented that tasted as good as it looks. Everyone told me how good the food was now that I had dinner at Ciao Chow I have a different opinion. I was very excited to have dinner at Ciao Chow's for the first time. Presentation was lacking the salad had some browning it tasted good though I wouldn't have sent it to a table. I Ordered lasagna it was appealing but was lacking in taste. The pasta was fresh. The cheese was good. The sauce tasted like tomato paste out of a can. I noticed there are tiles hanging by a thread about the ceiling. Everything above hand reach looked as though it had been ages since it was cleaned. The lights were dirty the ceiling was coming apart. The service was 5 star all the way very friendly ppl! The owner and chef should work on cleanliness and the quality of the food. I'm prety sure Gordon would call it a kitchen nightmare! I'd rather have fast food than the lasagna I was served. There are more satisfying varieties in the freezer section at the grocery store. I wasn't happy about paying for bread as an appetizer close to the cost of a meal. I have no intentions of going back... expect to pay 20 per person and do leave the servers a nice tip they go above and beyond! If you are ever close to baldwyn ms try the lasagna at pizza factory it's cheap cleanliness is the same as Ciao Chow it's a 6 dollar dish and tastes amazing I've never been dissatisfied by the dish it's served hot with garlic bread sticks and amazing the servers there don't match up to Ciao chow some are rude less than friendly. The lasagna dish is 5 star presentation look and paired with the right bread at no extra cost.
