We went to Sugaree's this afternoon for our first visit. We purchased several items. We purchased cupcakes, wedding cookies, and a slice of pound cake. The quality of the desserts is phenomenal. You can absolutely taste the goodness in every bite. I must mention the frosting on the chocolate cupcake. The frosting is smooth and reminds me of homemade fudge, but not as heavy. Best bakery with killer cakes! Strawberry, coconut, and caramel are divine. Last time we got two half cakes for a birthday and they wrote "happy birthday" on them. Come on Friday and try the chocolate pie. P.s. cupcakes are to die for also, and I don't usually care for cupcakes.
If you’re reading this JUST GO! You won’t be disappointed. Everything we tried was delicious. Caramel cake 10/10. Ding dong 10/10. Italian crème cake 10/10. Red velvet 7/10. We haven’t eaten the brownie yet but it has to be good based on the other desserts. The red velvet icing is delicious, but the cake didn’t pass muster.
