Not sure where to begin, just simply one of the best meat and three's on the planet. If you are a fan of full-flavored home style southern cooking, you have to try this place. No fuss paper plates, plastic cutlery, local patrons, one mile off the interstate. Black eyed peas, greens and jalapeño corn bread are must haves!

I just moved here recently 2-3 years now . And everything in newton is horrible . It’s not country nor soul food . Most is canned food . Food is always watery , running , and messy . Customer service is all over the place , dry , absence . Rude ! This is only recommended to keep your head above water . ITS A STRONG NO FOR ME.

Passing through town and Googled places to eat. THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Several plate options, meat & 3, etc. Good selection of meats and vegetables. Food was off the chain good. Hidden little gem in Newton. Will be a repeat customer any time I travel this way.
